Taiwan's Air Force Fighter Jet F-16V crashed on Tuesday during combat training after being observed missing from the radar while taking off from the Chiayi Air Base in Southern Taiwan. Following, the pilot is still accounted for, and an investigation underway
This was the Aircraft that had just recently upgraded to the "V" version with modern weapons and avionics.
Combat training for the Advanced F-16 fleet is being suspended, Air Force Inspector-General Liu Hui-Chien said.
Since the dispute arose between the adversaries on the controversial Island, the combat patrolling count as the normal practice to make sure the Air presence in disputed islands.
China has routinely sent its fighter jets to the air defense zone of Taiwan, those areas which belong to them, Beijing claim. Sometimes they were entered into an Airspace zone between Taiwan and the Philippines.
Though, the initial report has not been linked to such involvement of China in the crash.
Since 2 years the number has reached to 4 aircraft which has destroyed during training on technical ground.
