Israel-Hamas: Confrontation escalates closer to All-out War

Hamas rocket attacks on Israel and Israeli airstrikes on Gaza continued to full scale showing no sign of accord.

Till now more than 1,000 rockets have been fired by Palestinian military wing over 38 hours targeting cities and towns across Israel, said by Israeli officials, largely at Tel-Aviv. Up to 90% of the rockets had been intercepted.

On the other side, Israel has carried out deadly airstrikes onto Gaza, bringing down two Base Camps of Hamas on Tuesday.

This deadly exchange of fire caused heavy casualties. According to the Palestinian health ministry, 43 Palestinian including 13 innocent children have been reportedly killed by Israeli bombs. More than 200 people have been reported injured. Six Israelis have died and leave dozen wounded.

From where it all started?

It all started with a brutal crackdown on Palestine and the AL-Aqsa mosque attack, where the innocent Palestinian have been attacked by Israeli Police during worship, resulted from the military wing of Hamas issues an ultimatum to Israel on Monday at 6 pm to clear all forces from Al-Aqsa, but they didn't revert back, as a result, a heavy wave of rocket fire launched from Gaza strip to Israel and all begin with this. Moreover, heavy resistance from the Palestinians intensifies the situation.

Let's Understand Geographically:

Hamas specifically targets the rounded cities of Israel, because these cities are said to be the economic zone of Israel.

Well, Israel considers all the towers in northern Gaza are the base camp of Hamas. Hamas usually carries out its meeting in these towers.

Significant Attack on both side:

  • Hamas rocket hit the Ashkelon Port (cause small damage)
  • Oil refinery came under attack by Hamas in Ashkelon
  • Hanadi Tower (13 floors) completely destroyed by Israeli Airstrike

  • Direct rocket impact on a gas station in Ashkelon from Gaza
  • Oil facility in Ashkelon destroyed
  • The building is torched by Palestinian youth in LoD (Emergency have been declared in LoD)
  • Israeli ammunition depot attacked by Hamas rocket.
  • Al-Jawhara Tower has been destroyed by an Israeli airstrike at night.
  • Two Israeli soldiers killed and 4 injured in ATGM strike from Gaza
  • 50 rockets fired from Gaza towards the port of Ashdod (just now)
The impact of these attacks reflected yesterday's exchange rate of the Israeli Shekel which falls 1.4% against the US dollar.

Recent Development:

On Tuesday, the Israeli defense ministry approves the deployment of 5000 troops at the Gaza Border.

IDF troops are set to infiltrate into Gaza, they are equipped with Markava (MK-III, MK-IV) Tanks, Namar Achzarit (M113A2) APC's and possible air support of Helis.

Hamas Gaza Brigade commander Bassem Issa along with few others in an Israeli strike in Gaza.

Footage captured of the deployment from last night.

The Political Head of Hamas, Ismail Haniyah issued the statement today:

"All those countries who contacted us for a ceasefire, we have told Egypt, Qatar, and United States that those inflamed this are Israelis, they are responsible for all of this."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists Hamas should "pay a very heavy price for their belligerence".

For now, nobody can predict where the escalation end, Israeli bombardment still going on in Gaza, and the response from Hamas taking place bluntly.

The international response would be crucial for this conflict. Let's see
