NSO Pegasus Malware, remains a headline

Israeli made Pegasus Spyware again got the attention - the article published by Haaretz assembled a list of over 450 people's phones infected by this malware, these people categorized journalists, social activists, and reputed Goverenemnt affiliated persons.

Moreover, the confirmed infected spyware cases gradually increase as the reports coming from different sources as the nature of the malware is distinctive - were called Zero Exploit, in some cases, it exploits the device without even user clicking or opening a file.

This malware potentially infects any smartphone and gain full access to it, can monitor your mobile activities, can open the mikes, or even cameras. In a nutshell, all your information is vulnerable through this spyware and you may not know you've been monitored by someone.

In recent year, a successful zero-click have been observed exploiting multiple zero-days to attack fully patched iPhone 12 running sophisticated iOS 14.6 in July.

A detailed investigation was conducted by Amnesty International and the Univesity of Toronto's Citizen lab about the NSO's Pegasus injection worldwide and following the methodology of exploitation of devices.

The NSO group claims the use of this malware only to investigate terrorism & crime activity and diminished the radar target - to protect interest by any means. A total baseless argument is exposed in the amnesty report

Is your device vulnerable to Hacked?

Probably yes. Though, the ordinary users of smartphones are unlikely to be targeted in this way. Aside from criminal suspects and terrorists those most likely to be surveillance targets include journalists, human rights workers, diplomats, politicians, military leaders, government officials, business giants, and prominent people. The advanced security measures may resist attacks by spyware, but there's no way to know for sure.
