Should US handover Bagram Air Base to Afghanistan?

Since the Biden Administration announced the withdrawal from Afghanistan ahead of September 11, 2021, the subject gain much attention in the region. Does the withdrawal on a current circumstance be possible before the deadline? surely no. There are many reasons behind this assessment and this topic is one of the discussed reason. Six military bases are largely operated by the US in Afghanistan, and Bagram Airfield is one of Afghanistan's prominent or strategic airbase.

The vast strategic base, built by the Soviets in the 1980s, now the biggest military facility used by the US and its NATO forces allies in Afghanistan, with hundreds of thousands of troops stationed there and had majorly operated air operations in the last two decades in a violence-wracked country.

With that Washington has already handed over several military bases to Afghan forces since it announces the withdrawal. However, the future of Bagram Airfield still undisclosed. According to a US defense official, "I can confirm we will hand over Bagram Air Base," told France-based news agency without specifying when the transfer would occur.

Moreover, the second-largest foreign military base known as Kandhar Airfield in southern Afghanistan vacate by the forces in the last month.

It is essentially important to understand the significance of Bagram Air Base:

If you see the location of the Bagram Air Base on the map, you may surely understand how important this airfield is for the US, as it is very near to the Pakistan border or surprisingly not far away from China as well.

We've witnessed the rising tension between the strategic rival China & United States, if the Pentagon wants to maintain its presence in the region or may inflict the sabotaging element (CPEC) this base gave them a huge geopolitical significance.

After receiving a clear and cut message from Pakistan (Absolutely Not) to allow its territory to be used by the US for any action will further enhance the importance of Bagram Airspace.

It's just an analysis, maybe my judgment wrong.
